This project involved the complete structural demolition of a former hotel. Compliant licensed and non-licensed ACM removal was undertaken by a sub-contractor.

Working alongside the client’s ecologist. All highlighted areas were accessed via MEWPs / Crane and man basket to allow roof coverings and tile hanging removal prior to re- enstatement works to prevent re-occupation.

All works were conducted under a Bat Mitigation Licence issued by Natural England to Tamar Ecology who monitored and commended the effort and care taken by DSW operatives during all works associated with these sensitive areas.

Simultaneously ACM removal and demolition soft strip works were undertaken preparing for the full structural demolition of the four-storey structure. Utilising DSW owned Demolition Specification High-Reach excavators, the structures were progressively reduced. Upon completion of the demolition all associated floor slabs, foundations and required hard standing areas were removed.
